I can say without hesitation that it works based on my progression in terms of my fitness and speed.

The other big advantage for me coming off a leg injury where there still is some pain is that the rest/recovery built into the program is much better for preventing injuries, or in my case managing it. I am fairly confident that if I went back to running 4-5 days a week, my injury would come back.

I plan on sliding into the half-marathon program right after the 10K to train for the NH 10-miler and Reach the Beach in September.

Look forward to hearing how it goes.

Cheers,
TedTed Weismannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07411799303333132623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131364456035593083.post-24173482584272146312012-06-13T20:28:20.094-04:002012-06-13T20:28:20.094-04:00Great job, Larry!Great job, Larry!Daniel James Palmerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06210207740056164746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9131364456035593083.post-58181061470100105142012-04-02T22:27:47.283-04:002012-04-02T22:27:47.283-04:00Larry, with the taper fears and nerves kicking in ...Larry, with the taper fears and nerves kicking in before Boston, I finally sat down to read your blog.
